Although it will survive longer than most, the cost of maintenance is more than $200 less than the average. The odometers of many RAV4 owners' SUVs have shown far over 200,000 miles.

4. The Nissan Rogue

Model Years: 2008–Present; Average Yearly Repair Cost: $467* The Nissan Rogue is not only one of the least maintenance-intensive SUVs available, but it also has a lower likelihood than many others of requiring significant repairs within the first ten years of ownership, with annual repair and maintenance costs of just $467. The rogue may be inexpensive to maintain if well cared for, but it is not without problems if neglected.
