4.Rippled or Pitted Nails

Changes can look like tiny dips or waves. Psoriasis is well known for causing pitting, and nail changes often match skin symptoms. Other conditions like alopecia areata and lichen planus can also cause pitting. Good nail care may help prevent more damage, but treatment usually focuses on the underlying health issue.
